Searching for something different for this year’s Christmas party? Look no further than a Twilight Train experience with Dreamscape Tours. Enjoy fine food and beverages as you travel through country Victoria on your very own party train, equipped with everything you need to kick up your heels and see out the year in style.
Available Dates: Available most Fridays and Saturdays in late November and December. Please contact our team for specific date enquiries.
Cost: $200 per person based on 135 guests or min spend 27k
Group sizes: Trains can accommodate up to 180 guests. Minimum package is based on 135 guests.
Your Train Journey
Watch the stunning scenery pass by as you wind your way along Victoria’s rail network aboard your very own vintage style train.
Your guests arrive at Southern Cross station for a 7:15pm boarding, allowing everyone to step aboard and explore the train. At 7:30pm we depart, heading out away from the city for a night of fun and festivity. Our function train has four different carriages you can move around in, a dance floor with a DJ, a cocktail room with a band, a seated area with a bar or a quiet compartment area to take in the views. Your guests will enjoy a continuous flow of quality party food, designed to leave you full and satisfied.
At the halfway point, we step off the train for a quick break, before travelling back into Melbourne while enjoying a selection of desserts. On arrival back at Southern Cross, your group are invited to continue on to the after party in Melbourne CBD to dance the rest of the night away.
Car parking is available at Etihad Stadium with a 5-10 min walk, New Quay with a 5-10 min walk or Southern Cross Station (Wilson Parking) 2 min walk. Southern Cross Station is accessible by train and tram from most locations in Melbourne.

Food and Drinks
Keep your guests happy and well fed with an extensive food and drinks menu. Our menu has been designed with both quality and quantity in mind so your guests will never go hungry. - Tomato, basil and Bocconcini skewers with balsamic reduction (GF,V)
- Mini wrap bites with poach chicken and roast vegetables, aged cheddar and salad (V option)
- Pan fried blini pillows with creme fraiche, topped with smoked salmon and creme fraiche,
- topped beef and cucumber rounds with dill, creme fraiche and capers (V option)
- Mini cheese and spinach triangles wrapped in a filo pastry. (V)
- Handmade mid size quiche selection – Lorraine & sundried tomato & feta (V option)
- Handmade petite gourmet pies and vegetarian empanadas selection (V option)
- Handmade mini wood fire gourmet pizzas (margherita and capricciosa) (V option)
- Handmade gourmet beef sausage rolls with handmade relish
- Handmade arancini balls with saffron mozzarella (V)
- Chicken satays with homemade dipping sauce (GF)
- Mini cheese chicken/beef burgers on brioche buns / Mini falafel burgers on brioche buns (V option)
- Thai salad with rice noodles and Asian vegetables (GF, V)
- Mini American hot dogs in a long brioche roll with tomato sauce and mustard.

We boarded the Twilight Christmas Train for our staff Christmas function and had a great night. Nothing but positives from all who attended. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. It was a great night! Thanks to all who helped us celebrate!
Service was amazing – Nathan and all the staff took extra good care of us on the night. The singer and DJ were amazing and the crowd really took to them both. The train may have gone a little fast at one point. All in all a great event!
